Finger Lakes National Forest

The Finger Lakes National Forest (FLNF) is one of the many highlights of the Seneca Lake Scenic Byway. Tucked between the two largest Finger Lakes (Cayuga and Seneca), the FLNF encompasses more than 16,259 acres. You’ll find over 30 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, camping spots, wildlife ponds, and even a “Queen’s Castle” on the shore of Seneca Lake. During winter, you’ll encounter a forested wonderland that both cross-country skiers and snowmobilers enjoy.
